Peter & Peter here, to introduce ourselves!
We’re a California based creative duo, focusing on both photo & video for the outdoor industry. Peter Amend is an outdoor industry lifestyle photographer. Peter Kappen is a director, filmmaker and photographer.
For the entirety of our water photography careers, Aquatech has been a huge part of our personal workflow, so we’re thrilled to introduce ourselves to the team, and bring you this opportunity to share a conversation about sustainability and our love for the ocean.
We’re headed to Anacapa Island, Channel Islands National Park, to produce images for the Oru Kayak brand, and make a short film about our photography process. We’ve identified this opportunity as a perfect partnership for Aquatech to be involved, as it’s a great product fit. We’ll both be using Aquatech systems to shoot all stills and cinema, highlighting how the housings are used in the real world. Having both used our iPhones extensively to create commercial work in the past, it’s fitting that we shoot all the content for this project on the AxisGo. Peter Kappen, former Apple employee, has shown his iPhone photography in galleries and has had his footage featured in international Apple commercials.
Our ask: In return for providing us with two Axis Go housings with pistol grip and dome, we’ll provide: 5 lifestyle photos taken with axis go, 5 lifestyle photos of the AxisGo in use, and a 30-60 second second film shot on the AxisGo highlighting how we as photographers and filmmakers use Aquatech products (the Elite II system and AxisGo) on a real life commercial shoot. License to include usage for social & web use (blog, etc).
