Hey friends! Circling back around with some thoughts about this year, now that I’m able to get back on the road for a bit! Would love to hear your thoughts and chat about some ideas when you’re free! Here are a couple ideas to pique your imagination.
Trip: Big Sur, family tent camping in the redwoods.
Themes: Togetherness, Unplugged. Cooking with the family over the fire, creating ‘fancy camp coctails’. Playing guitar, roasting smores. Focus on Danni & David, a bi-racial friend couple.
Product: hiking packs, daypacks, sapling, camp duffels
Timeline & asset delivery: Mid August, gallery delivered early september.
Trip: Sailing & Spearfishing Catalina Island
Themes: Brotherhood, guys trip, adventure off grid. Sailing to Catalina and spearfishing kelp beds for yellowfin tuna. Sailboat and onshore tent camping.
Product focus: Duffel bags, daypacks.
Timeline & asset delivery: Trip August 6, gallery delivered late august.
Trip: California Eastern Sierra roadtrip - climbing/rooftop tent camping
Themes: Guys road trip, adventure off grid. Exploring the beauty of eastern sierra, camping in Alabama Hills. Multiple sleep spots with rooftents set up in magnificent desert landscapes.
Product focus: Tepui, Duffels, daypacks, bike hitch racks / or any roof accessories.
Timeline & asset delivery: Trip August 6, gallery delivered late august.
Trip: Trona Bicycle campout
Themes: Desert friend trip, adventure off grid. Rippin’ mountain bikesf around the Trona Pinnacles, evening cookouts under the stars. Dogs, beer, motorcycles!
Product focus: vehicle & bicycle heavy - trucks with roofracks, hitch accessories, roof accesories
Timeline & asset delivery: September/october? Could be shot as a thanksgiving piece?
Trip: Sapling backpack in Sequoia National Park - or different location such as Harmony Headlands, Big Sur, etc.
This could even look like a gallery curated from 4-5 different family hikes in different regions?
During Covid we’ve put probably a hundred miles on ours and there’s no signs of slowing down! We’d love to shoot some more imagery of the sapling if it makes sense for Thule!
Trip: Backpacking Mineral King
Themes: Epic alpine summit, high altitude, attainable adventure, weekend warrior
Product focus: multi day backpacks
Timeline & asset delivery: September/october, before early winter snow

canoe trip down Merced river in my vintage green canoe. Yosemite at sunset, focus on any relevant small accessories.
CA hot springs tour - hot beverages on cold days in hot springs. Highlighting backpacks/daypacks, hiking in to secret hot springs for a hot drink in the snow.
Big Sur bicycle Tour. Bicycle panniers & accesories, pedaling down the most iconic section of Highway one.
