Hi David! Here are a couple trips and themes that I’d love your consideration for! Would love to know which of these might resonate with you - these are a good starting point but would help hearing your feedback and what might be your focus for the year. Have a ton of stoke about getting some fun projects going - all these subjects are great friends with amazing stories and fit the Yeti story well. Yeww!

Summer/Fall Canoe Trip down Yosemite Valley

Canoe trip down Merced river in my vintage green canoe. Yosemite at sunset, focusing on drinkware/soft coolers, picnicing along the way. loadoutboxes etc.
Product: soft coolers, drinkware, loadout boxes, small cooler used as a canoe seat? Focus on green/neutral/tan colorways? spring/summer/fall

Urchin Dying with Margaret

Harvesting urchins & dying fabric with Margaret. She uses invasive purple urchins to create a beautiful dye that she uses to create artistic tapestries & fabrics. She teaches dying workshops and creates personal work, using yeti coolers & buckets in the process.

Trip: California Eastern Sierra roadtrip - overlanding/camping

Themes: Guys road trip, adventure off grid. Exploring the beauty of eastern sierra, camping in Alabama Hills, open fire cooking etc.
Product focus: Coolers, loadouts, etc

Spearfishing Channel Islands

Spearfishing/surfing the Channel Islands on Corbans boat. Overnight camping on the islands, spearfishing & surfing in the day.
Product: coolers/drinkwear/loadout boxes/duffels (duffels strapped to the roof/bow of this boat would be pretty sick)
Spring/summer

Flight with Tiana

Flying iconic California spots with pilot Tiana (award winning filipino/italian athlete & surfer)
Imagery of prepping & loading/unloading gear, packing bags in plane, etc. Flying to catalina airport? In air photos of drinkwear during flight?
Product: Duffels/luggage/expedition gear, backpacks, soft coolers

Good doggos

Any dog imagery - hiking, beach trips, camping, etc
product - dog beds, bowls, blankets etc

Overnight Sailing trip

Casual overnight sailing overnight trip to the channel islands on Kolbys 40’ sailboat. Eating & relaxing, snorkeling, fishing, swimming off the side of the boat, anchoring offshore a national park island.

Jim Russi - Surf Cowboy

Jim is one of the OG legendary North Shore photographers who has shot anyone and everyone of importance in the surf world, from Kelly Slater to the Florence boys. Now spends much of his time on a Ranch in his classic truck, riding horses, and photographing his own sons who now charge pipeline.

This could look like a simple product shoot - coolers & drinkwear at the truck on the ranch on a hot summer day, or a longform editorial piece with copy & lifestyle photography. This guy has a great story that pairs well with Yeti story - a great tribute to a new life of sobriety and healing.

Surf Days

Surf lifestyle imagery revolving around social beach days & longboarding in southern California. Cooking dinner on the beach, fish on the grill, guitars around a fire, being stoked with wet hair after long days in the water.
